Our conversation today with Wendy May, the marketing manager of the Frederick County Economic Development Authority, also features Christine Kriz, Director of Laurel Ridge Small Business Development Center to give details about an upcoming conference called "Cultivate Your Agribusiness." Attendance is free, though registration is required for the event which takes place on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, (snow date February 27) from 8am - 1pm at Laurel Ridge Community College's Corron Center on their Middletown campus. 

The half-day conference focuses on various aspects of agribusiness, including financial best practices, protecting businesses, and agritourism. It aims to provide valuable information and resources to help agribusinesses succeed in the Shenandoah Valley. Wendy & Christine highlight the importance of networking and collaboration within the agribusiness community.
