Our (Winchester/Frederick County) Tourism Tuesday conversation with Justin Kerns featured Jill Edlich from Ravenwood Faire - a Medieval Faire - happening over the course of three days at Frederick County Fairgrounds. The event opens on Friday, September 30, 2022, from 3pm - 10pm and continues on Saturday, October 1 from 10am - 7pm and Sunday, October 2 from 10am - 5pm. Ravenwood Faire will feature live music, great food, period demonstrations & interactive experiences, plus jousting and full armor combat.

Jill gave us some background for Ravenwood Foundation and told us how Ravenwood Faire was created as a fundraiser to support it's mission. She talked about her goal of finding a permanent home not just for the festival, but to offer year-round activities.
